You see, I’ve been single for 3 years already! Yay! Hahaha. For me it seems like a miracle. LOL! Just kidding. Because of that, I learned a lot of things about myself.

1. I will give up almost anything for chocolates. I once ironed my family’s clothes for a bar of chocolate. It took me hours to iron clothes and a minute to finish off the chocolate.
2. I am more like a guy than a girl. That’s why I make more guy friends that girl friends.
3. I like flowers, but I like them better when they’re all black and…dead. I still have my roses from last year’s prom, and I think they’re prettier today.
4. I love babies. But I wouldn’t make one ’til I get married. LOL.

And I think I just wooed some… thing.

I was looking for Vans slip-ons. Yesterday was the third day I did. But I just couldn’t find a pair that fits my feet! Gosh! It’s like a Cinderella story but I am the shoe and the shoes were all the girls. LOL. What a joke.

And then I finally had enough. “Forget it! I’m going to look for one in the Philippines.”

Then we went to Starbucks to have a drink. I was silent. I thought that I lost my love for that kind of shoe. I was kinda heartbroken.

So boys don’t ever ever ever ever ever ever tell me that I don’t know how it feels like. Hahaha!

It was like doing my best to woe a shoe. And then I ended up being dumped. I don’t think I’d ever buy that shoe again! Whenever I see those pair of shoes I wanna throw them in the waste bin. LOL. So that was my Vans Romance..

I was tagged by Keiti but I can’t do it yet since I’m still here in UAE. LOL.

Anyway, so here’s what always makes my day.

Papa: I saw these weird shoes in the mall called “SCROG”. I see everyone wearing them.
Mama: How does it look like?
Papa: It’s kinda big, and then soft..with all the holes. They look like slippers.
Mama: What’s that?
Brother: CROCS?
Papa: Nonono… SCROG.
Me: Fake CROCS?
Papa: No it can’t be fake, I saw it in Marina Mall.
Mama: *laughing* You weren’t wearing glasses, were you?
Me: HAHA! SCROG!

Goodbye 2008!

Guys, again, I’m apologizing about the Video Collaboration. Apparently there is NO YOUTUBE here in UAE. Well, not today. I think there are some problems, but I think it’s just because of the Holidays. Well, I’m kinda disappointed with the video because only a few bloggers were able to submit due to the busyness this holiday season. But I’m happy with the videos! They all rawk, baby!

So I dont really know what to say. Tomorrow is gonna be New Year’s Eve. We are going to Corniche Road to watch some Fireworks OMG! I’m really addicted to fireworks. You kno, the fireworks here are, like, 45 minutes! Imagine that! I wont be breathing for 45 looooong minutes! HAH!

This day we went shopping for shoes. I’m looking for Vans slip-ons, but FYI, UAE has the worst shopping malls EVER! I mean, they have the BEST MALLS…if you wont go shopping. They look a million times better than the Philippine malls, but if you start to go shopping.. you might as well go back to the Philippines instead. =/ Why? Because you go there, see the displayed shoes, and when you ask for a pair YOUR size, they don’t have it. The only sizes available are the ones displayed! I mean, even the designs of the shoes! I dont even think they have a business anymore. GAH! And imagine the feet of the Arabs. They are like almost three times my size. I’m size 6. =/ We went to different malls, and they all have size 15, 16, etc. Hate them all. They forgot about the small people like me.

So I gave it up because we’re going to Dubai on New Year’s Day anyway. I’m gonna hunt for the Vans slip-ons there. I just hope I find one. Sigh.

Instead we went grocery shopping. And because I was too bored, I took pictures. Heehee.

Great day even though I didnt get a pair of shoes. Huhu. More things to do this vacation, like smoking Shisha. Just google it if youre interested to know! Happy new year! This will be my last post for 2008!

PS: I played Hotel626, but I chickened out.
